Take note of the rounded curb area that leads into a grassy area of some sort with a tree present in the center of the grassy area. Attorney General Eric Holder was in Connecticut and met with Governor Dannel Malloy about a project that touched on the extremely touchy subject of gun control.

“Moving forward, the effort will be replicated in cities across the state,” the report states, outlining a program where gang members have been told “If you ‘drop a body,’ all the resources of New Haven police and its state and federal partners will focus on you — and all of your associates as well.”

Technique and Strategies to Focus on Gun Violence in Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he has directed state criminal justice resources – including state police, corrections, probation, parole and prosecutors – to collaborate with federal and local law enforcement officials in Bridgeport, Hartford and New Haven on implementing a program of “Focused Deterrence,” designed to reduce gun violence within those three cities where shootings remain objectionably high.
“While overall crime statewide is down and is at its lowest rate since 1968, gun violence in our major cities remains unacceptably high. Last year, 94 out of 129 homicides statewide occurred in New Haven, Hartford and Bridgeport – almost all involving guns, almost all involving young men, mostly African American men,” Governor Malloy said. “Young people are killing other young people, often for no discernible reason. As a result, we’re losing young people, and children are growing up without parents. It’s got to stop.”
The Governor announced that federal, state and local officials have agreed to a strategy of “Focused Deterrence” that is modeled after successful programs around the country in cities such as Boston, Chicago, Providence and Cincinnati and is already in the process of being implemented in New Haven. The technique is based on the concept that the vast majority of gun crimes are committed by a fairly small number of individuals within each of the cities who are already under the supervision of probation and parole officers and well known to police and prosecutors.
“On the state level, I have directed my administration to focus our criminal justice resources on this urban violence,” Governor Malloy said. “We agree that no strategy will be effective without the support of the community. This means parents, clergy, neighborhood leaders, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles – everyone working toward one goal. We are working to regain the trust of the African American and Latino communities. We need their help. The lives of these young people are too valuable not to act.”
Governor Malloy said that he has directed some of the state’s federal grants towards this initiative, and that state money has been set aside for this purpose as well.
“Too many of our nation’s youth are stripped of the promise of a bright future by their exposure to violence and crime. Our office, together with our federal, state, local and community partners, are embarking on an anti-violence strategy that combines vigorous criminal enforcement efforts with an effective crime prevention program and strong reentry initiatives,” U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut David Fein explained. “While the continued enforcement of gun, gang and organized drug crime remains our core mission, our commitment to this deterrence program, in conjunction with our office’s ongoing anti-violence outreach efforts, reflects our determination to explore ways to end the cycle of violence that gravely impacts so many communities in Connecticut and across our nation. Together, we can and will make our communities safer.”
Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch said, “One death is one too many – an innocent child caught in the crossfire is unacceptable. We have been working hard in Bridgeport reaching out to the community to keep the lines of communication open to my office and the police department. I support the Governor’s initiative and we will continue to collaborate with state and federal law enforcement officials to stem the tide of illegal guns used in these violent acts.”
“I want to thank Governor Malloy, U.S. Attorney David Fein and the other engaged stakeholders who have dedicated so much time and energy to make this happen. I know the pain, suffering and grief that’s caused by losing a loved one to gun violence. My own father was taken from me when I was very young for a truly stupid reason,” Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra said. “While we have made great strides in the last two years in reducing gun violence, seeing an almost 30% reduction in murders and a 15% reduction in shooting incidents, and the results of the Shooting Task Force has been extraordinary, reducing homicides by over 50% and increasing murder arrests by almost 10%, there is still much work that remains. As Connecticut’s capitol city continues to improve and expand opportunities in education, income and jobs, this new initiative, which I have been studying for some time, will provide us with another terrific and collaborative tool to combat violent crime in the urban core.”
New Haven Mayor John DeStefano remarked, “I want to acknowledge the leadership the Governor and state have already provided to dramatically ingrate state and local resources aimed at ending gun violence. It is making a difference in New Haven, but there is much more work to do.”

A professor from Florida who has spoken out in regards to the numerous anomalies was directly attacked by Cooper due to the fact that it is much harder to label a professor at a university as some lone crazy on the Internet.
It is also interesting to mention that Cooper spent a large chunk of time attacking the claim that crisis management actors were used in conjunction with fake news media broadcasts.

Debunking the Sandy Hook Debunkers

During the age of Obama, the major media have gone fully AWOL. If they fear that their reporting will lead to inconvenient discoveries, they simply stop their advance, lay down their notebooks, and disappear. This trend began in the Clinton years and picked up momentum after the 1994 electoral debacle, but the Clintons at least worried that the media might turn on them. Barack Obama ever had any such anxiety, the nonreporting on Fast and Furious, Benghazi and now Sandy Hook has had to reassure him. Sandy Hook is particularly disturbing because the truth is, or at least should have been, so accessible. This tragedy should never have spawned anything like a conspiracy theory, but it obviously has.
Protecting the major media's flank during retreat are many and sundry well-funded leftist blogs -- Huffington Post, The Daily Kos, Media Matters, and TPM among others. While the major media withdraw, the blogs attack those who might challenge the "narrative" the majors have left behind.
A case in point is a recent multi-media Huffington Post piece titled "Sandy Hook Conspiracy Theory Video Debunked By Experts." In the video intro, HuffPo editor Meredith Bennett-Smith laughingly dismisses the various alternate theories of what transpired at Sandy Hook. Says Bennett-Smith, "That is what conspiracy theorists love to do. They put out a lot of questions, but they don't necessarily provide a lot of answers." When there is a Democrat in the White House, alas, anyone who asks a question becomes a conspiracy theorist.
Like too many alleged fact checkers, Bennett-Smith addresses only the least significant of the challenges to the Sandy Hook narrative: the alleged use of crisis actors, the memorials that predated the shooting, the confusion about what weapon was in Adam Lanza's trunk. The "experts" she promises in the headline turn out to be other Obama-friendly fact checkers like David Mikkelson, founder ofSnopes, and Robert Blaskiewicz, editor of a comparable blog called Skeptical Humanities. Absent in the piece is anyone who knows anything about guns or police work.
Predictably, what the HuffPo piece does not address are the two most troubling inconsistencies in the Sandy Hook reporting: the nature of the guns used and the presence or absence of a second shooter. Both questions have gained importance because of the White House's obvious political exploitation of a ginned up "assault weapon" hysteria.
As to the guns, on December 15, one day after the shooting, NBC's chief justice correspondent Pete Williams spoke with Today Show host Matt Lauer. Williams shared "new information" from a "couple of federal officials and state officials." Said Williams, "They say now that there were actually four handguns recovered inside the school, not just two as we were initially told; four handguns and apparently only handguns that were taken into the school." (Italics mine)
Williams said that Lanza also brought an "assault style, AR-15 style rifle" with him to school, but, he added, "We have been told by several officials that he left that in the car." In the days that followed, the story would shift to the AR-15, not as the exclusive weapon -- two handguns remained in the story -- but as "the primary weapon used in the attack." On December 19, CNN reported, "Police say Lanza's rifle used numerous 30-round magazines." By January 6, the Hartford Courant was reporting that Lanza used the handguns only to shoot himself.
This shift in reporting may be justified, and Williams' sources may have been wrong, but why has no one at NBC addressed the discrepancy? The police had plenty of time to establish the nature of the weapons used that first day. Williams cited multiple police sources. He is a seasoned reporter on a show that takes itself seriously. In retrospect, it is easy to see why authorities would want to bend the narrative to an AR-15, but why would anyone have chosen to mislead Williams on day two?
Equally under-reported is the disposition of the second suspect. On day one, the media were reporting that the police had apprehended a likely second shooter. As CBS News reporter John Miller said definitively, "They have a second person in custody." He pointed out that this was not at all unprecedented given that there were two shooters at Columbine. Fox News described this person as wearing a black jacket and camouflage pants. According to Fox, a SWAT team escorted him out of the woods.
The Alex Jones Channel, although not always reliable, put together a nonconspiratorial video using network news clips of the chase in the woods, the capture, and interviews with witnesses. ABC News interviewed both a well-spoken child and an adult who confirmed seeing the man in custody. "They did walk a guy out of the woods with handcuffs," said the man. The fellow then pointed the reporter to a police car where the alleged second shooter was still sitting.
Admittedly, the media got much wrong on day one: the name of the shooter, the mother's relationship to the school, the supposed murder of the father, but the media quickly walked this information back. If they retracted the stories about the four handguns or the second shooter -- or even explained the discrepancies -- I have been unable to find any clarification, and the Huffington Post piece provided none either.
Until I see firm evidence, I remain agnostic about the official Sandy Hook narrative. My investigations into TWA Flight 800 and the Oklahoma City bombing have taught me to be wary of an "evolving" story line. In those two tragedies, as is often the case, the early reporting was the most reliable.

n the aftermath of the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Conn.,
President Obama has moved to strengthen America's gun laws, and public opinion has swung significantly in support of stricter gun control. Gun-rights advocates have responded passionately, but opposition has also begun to take on uglier forms — most notably in conspiracy theories that contend the shooting was a hoax perpetrated by the government, the media, or some wildly improbable combination of the two.
What kind of conspiracy theories are out there? One contends that something is amiss because the
adults in Newtown — particularly Robbie Parker, who lost his 6-year-old daughter Emilie in the shooting — haven't grieved hard enough. According to this theory, many of the shattered adults you've seen on camera are actors. Another claims that Emilie is still alive, appearing in a photograph with President Obama (the person in the photo is Emilie's sister). Yet another claims that there were other gunmen besides Adam Lanza. For a comprehensive list, as well as a thorough debunking (not that you'd need one), check out this article from Salon.
The thread that connects the various theories is gun control. "The underlying theme in all the theories is that the media, the government, and the Obama administration specifically either manipulated or orchestrated the shooting to move political opinion on gun control," says Laura Edwins at The Christian Science Monitor. Analysts say the theories may be a way to deflect blame from guns to imaginary culprits.
Of course, conspiracy theories abound on the Internet. But the Sandy Hook variety are gaining traction, approaching Obama-was-born-in-Kenya ubiquity. One YouTube video, "The Sandy Hook Shooting—Fully Exposed," has been viewed more than 10 million times. Gene Rosen, a Newtown resident who sheltered six children during the shooting, has reportedly received creepy phone calls and emails from those who believe he is an actor. And it's all over social media, according to Ben Smith and CJ Lotz at BuzzFeed:
"It's by far the hottest topic of the moment," said David Mikkelson, the co-founder of the popular fact-checking website Snopes.com, which offers a detailed and extensive debunking of the theory's various planks.
The term "Sandy Hook conspiracy" was also a "hot search" on Google this week. [BuzzFeed]
It may be unwise to attribute these theories to a bunch of cranks. As the National Rifle Association showed this week, with an anti-gun control ad harping on Obama's daughters, a conspiratorial strain runs through the gun lobby's public relations approach. As David Weigel atSlate explains:
The idea that the government is one short step away from a gun ban is actually integral to the lobby's pitch…At the 2012 Conservative Political Action Conference, [NRA head Wayne] LaPierre warned that the first-term Obama administration's "lip service to gun owners is just part of a massive Obama conspiracy to deceive voters and hide his true intentions to destroy the Second Amendment during his second term"…
[T]he fact that Obama responded to Sandy Hook at all validates LaPierre’s fears, and he’s said so. Why would anyone be surprised when that paranoia grows into a full-on conspiracy theory? [Slate]

The moment it emerged that he was alive and was taken into police custody in Hoboken, New Jersey, many if not all of the statements previously made to the press by anonymous ‘law enforcement officials’ regarding Ryan Lanza and his connections could no longer have been known beforehand.
In the following passage of my previous article on the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, I made the following reference to Ryan Lanza being the named second suspect caught armed in the adjacent woods:
I have since found the original Associated Press report, which in fact states that it was “Ryan’s younger brother”, Adam Lanza, who was arrested in the woods. So let’s take a closer look at this revealing report.
That Fox News report has since been ‘updated’, but here is the full original text and screenshot of the Associated Press report which places both brothers at the scene, one dead (Ryan), and the other arrested (Adam):
Who exactly is this ‘law enforcement official’ that has access to the premier news agency in the country, and on behalf of which state agency does he/she work for?How did they even know at this point that Ryan had a younger 20-year-old brother when there are no public records of Adam Lanza since 2009and the two brothers had not seen each other since 2010, as claimed by Ryan? How could they have known on Friday morning that Ryan had a girlfriend and that she and another friend were missing in New Jersey? How did they even know that Ryan had any connection to New Jersey at all? The Lanzas’ mother was dead at this point and their father only found out later through a reporter asking him about Adam, who had by then become the ‘lone gunman’ in the official narrative.
Surely the first point on the timeline at which anyone can even begin to discover these things about Ryan is the moment he piped up on Facebook and said “Hi, I’m alive, I didn’t do it, and I live and work down here in New Jersey!” How could ‘law enforcement officials’ have pieced together details of his life but not known that he was actually still alive in the very location where they stated that his girlfriend had gone missing?
The only way they could have found out all this about Ryan Lanza was if they had 100% positively identified him as the ‘dead gunman inside the building’, then worked backwards from there by investigating who his next of kin were, then questioning family members, then discovering where he lived and worked, that he had a girlfriend and that she and a friend were missing, etc.
Such things take time to investigate, especially as they would involve cross-checking with police and other officials in New Jersey. And even before that, somebody there would first have had to receive local reports of two missing people before any connection could be made to the shooting in Connecticut.
Even if we granted these ‘law enforcement officials’ super fast detective powers, they would not have been able to travel back in time to rewrite the script regarding how they knew what they knew about the Lanza brothers, particularly Ryan. Because from the moment the official line was forced to deviate towards saying that Ryan Lanza was no longer the ‘dead shooter inside the building’, it became impossiblefor these ‘law enforcement officials’ who “weren’t authorised to speak” (but heck, were telling lots of people lots of things that morning anyway, and whose credentials enabled them to speak through the Associated Press and other media outlets) to have retrospectively discovered all these connections of Ryan.
The only logical conclusion I can draw at this stage is that somebody or some group with high-level media access had FOREKNOWLEDGE of the crime, foreknowledge that is revealed by their ‘anonymously’ leaking to the press things which they could not otherwise have known, foreknowledge that exposes their hand in originally planning to use both Lanza brothers as patsies.

CNN video of police charge at Sandy Hook is not Sandy Hook

At the words "they arrived to carnage," the CNN Anderson Cooper report cuts to helicopter footage of seven police officers charging across a parking lot and toward a school. It is breaking news coverage of the Sandy Hook shooting just hours earlier.
The three-minute report posted on the day of the shootings at the official CNN website is entitled "Tragedy Strikes at Elementary School." But the school is almost certainly not Sandy Hook.
